We may claim our real history to be
the karmic history of a soul,
or of a mind,
or of matter and material evolution.
We cannot speak of ourselves without history.
Take all this as Samsāra.
In Vedanta and Buddhist philosophies, Samsāra appears as an individual’s births, character, potentialities or life conditions as stemming from one’s karmic history of cycles through birth and death. If I do not accept a soul or Consciousness, I must at least accept a DNA history or an evolutionary history.
Hence, I experience Samsāra.
